71 and still kickin'

ALoHa!!

So Engelbert's concert on Saturday was a pretty evergreen affair. At 71, he still sings great!! I was bored at the start when he was singing all these pretty oldies with greying people all around me humming and singing and swaying to his tunes.. But then the excitement starts to kick in halfway throughout when he started talking funny stuff and doing a parody of different artists (he does a wicked impersonation of Elvis!! LOL..) and then the big big voice starts to slowly seep its way through the massive speakers. Omg his voice rocks!!! 2 hours later when we were in the car on the way for supper, and 3 folks in the car with me were still humming away. LOL.. It was pretty humorous I say. No complaints coz that's probably me in a few decades. Hahaha...

So, videos.

Engelbert doing a cover of a James Blunt's "Goodbye My Lover".. The way he sings it makes it sound like one of the classic oldies! Haha...

Singing "My Way"... Wooooo impressive..

Engelbert: You know a lot of young artists nowadays and bringing classics back to life. People like Michael Bubleeee....

Audience: ??

Engelbert: Oh. Bublay.

Engelbert: And also classical singers like Pavarotti.

*chest out, stomach in, and does an opera voice*

2 seconds later...

Engelbert: *pants* Damn I'm tired.
