I'm baaaaack!!!!!!!!!!
It's so cool to be back. It's 2.57am and I just finished unpacking my stuff and putting everything where it needs to be. I hate stuff lying around. And omg I can't sleep!! How how how!! So I decided to blog!
Ok.. so we've taken 10 flights throughout our journey. Geez.. 10 flights. From Singapore to LA to Denver to Oklahoma City to San Francisco to Hong Kong, and it repeats. We went mad, seriously.
I probably missed Oklahoma City the most. The people were so welcoming and our residency felt so homely. And omg the breakfast! I miss the breakfast!! And Oklahoma City University was very nice. I miss the school! I'm really too lazy to upload pictures right now. Maybe next time.
San Francisco was good too, except that our accomodation sucked. It was a hostel and it was so eeeew.. The whole storey had like 3 common toilets. I squirm just thinking about it. But it's alright, we all just bit our tongue and tried to make the best of it. The sightseeing was pretty good!! We went to Union Square to shop, but I didn't buy anything coz my luggage was already vomitting out and really couldn't fit anything else other than a few miserable magnets.
We also went to Alcatraz. It used to be an island prison where the most dangerous criminals were banished to. The way they did the whole tour thing was quite cool. They gave you these headphones and there was audio and real prisoners' voices and you kind of followed the instructions as the audio guided you through the prison. Listening to it was pretty freaky. They made you feel anger, fear, and compassion.
We also went to Castro. Ah.... Castro. Homosexual town. Haha.. Why are all cute men gays??? They had these rainbow flags hung over shops and it basically means that the men in that shop are gays and they support homosexuality. Probably the safest place for girls to be in. Hahaha...
LA was really nice too. We went to Universal Studios and took rides and took pictures with weird and cute characters. I took a photo with Spidey! And that weird burping character whatever his name was. So gross. Oh and the Waterworld pirates show was really nice. The pirates are cute! We took pictures with the actors after their show. Omg one pirate ate my hair and freaked me out. And I'm still kicking myself for not taking a picture with that muscular Stone Cold lookalike pirate. *kick kick kick* They also showed us around the movie sets and we drove through the Desperate Housewives town!! They showed us the different wives' houses and there was were they film Desperate Housewives. The whole show was filmed there. To think we really thought it was a real town! But it's all just a set! Really cool huh! And you won't believe how small King Kong's Skull Island is!!! And we saw the clock tower from Back to The Future!! And also the real set from that Tom Cruise movie. The one with aliens and stuff. It was the part where the airplane crashed. They actually used a real aeroplane and demolished it to make it look like a scene from a post-crash. We also saw the real Tokyo Drift cars. Smokin'!!
The LA City tour was really really nice too.. We went to Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive (the high end street where celebrities shop at), Santa Monica, and Venice Beach (where Pacific Blue was filmed! My sister will love this!!!). We also saw the Hollywood Walk Of Fame. So darn cool.. But the pictures didn't turn out too good coz the sun was shining and reflecting on the golden stars on the ground. I took a picture with Christopher Reeves' star!! My favorite superhero!!! And I took a picture of Richard Gere's clay handprint for my mum. Lol... Handsome old guy she says.
Anyways, we also went to Disneyland which was a cartoon and fairytale paradise! I love Belle's dress!! You know the character from Beauty and the Beast? Ah.. I know you know. We took pictures with a lot of the fairytale princesses like Snow White, Little Mermaid, Jasmine from Aladdin, etc... Really nice kiddish place. I wish I went there when I was a child. It would've been more exciting. Now that I'm old..... *sigh*

Hahaha.. Ok ok inside joke.
Last stop was Hong Kong. Didn't really like it. It was just ok. I wished we went to Taiwan or Japan or Korea. Hong Kong is like Singapore's Chinatown. It's kind of like the same everywhere you turn. Maybe coz we only had 3 days anyway and couldn't do or go much. But the hotel was nice! Haha...
Okie dokie, 3.30am now and I'm still not sleepy. Gonna go check my emails.. I can't wait to play with Fanfan tomorrow!! Hope you enjoyed reading this (LOL) and drop me a shoutout!
